Let’s spoil her for Mother’s Day
Gifting Guide
Writing this blog is bitter-sweet as it’s the first Mother’s Day I’m living too far away to celebrate with my Mom. Thankfully, there are other acts of love I can do to show her how thankful I am for her love, support, and dedication throughout the years.
Okay, so I’ll get right to it… Here are a list of gift idea’s for Mother’s Day!
For New Moms
I know many friends that are celebrating their 1st Mother’s Day this year, so it’s kinda a big deal. Hubby’s give her a gift to remember, and wear forever 😉 Jewelry! It’s always sweet to buy something sentimental that also include her child(ren) birth stone too! Personally, I’ve given my Mom the below necklace as she always tells me to look at the moon no matter where I am in the world .
I’ve recently partnered with a Smiling Rocks, which is an ethical jewelry brand that donates 10% of profit to charities and sell only lab grown diamonds. You can get $50 + free shipping while using my code Shesgoing_ at check out.
Overwhelmed Moms
More than ever to I realize how much work having children are- in addition to juggling work, home etc. Why not give her some CBD products like oils, edibles, bath bombs etc. I have a 10% off code at White Label CBD Market using code: SHESGOINGCBD10
Sentimental Moms
Personalized gifts are always the way to a Mother’s heart. Luckily there are many ways this can be done.
- I’ve recently seen an add for a “Love Book‘ which is a personalized story book where you create your own characters and story. They currently have a Mother’s Day special with 20% off using code: MDay19
- Sound Wave Necklace. This is such a good idea for Mom’s to-be or new Mother’s. It’s a necklace that can be personalized with her child’s heart beat or even name.
- Long Distance Mugs. You can customize the names/ locations on the mug with ‘Home is where Mom is.’ Perhaps put a gift card for a cafe or coffee/ tea brand she loves.
Quality Time Moms
It’s not always about gifts, rather some activity different together (especially if you don’t have the funds to go all out.) Here are some ideas:
- Plan a Wine and Painting night
- Wine tasting
- Go for a Hike / Walk/ Bike ride together
- Get a Mani/Pedi together
- Buy some plants and garden together
- Buy tickets to a concert, play etc.
You can look up local websites like TimeOut, Pulse, and Eventbrite to find events happening locally. Sometime you may get a freebie too!
Whatever you decide to spoil Mom with, I’m sure she’ll be happy. Enjoy every moment! x
